Challah Bread
Early this month I made Challah bread (for the first time). Following are the ingredients and process recommended by (my baking instructor) TOM.
Ingredients
- wheat Floor - 300g
- water - 150g
- sugar - 30g
- yeast - 6g
- salt - to taste
- honey - 1 tea spoon
Process
- Mix all the ingreadients together. Knead it. Leave it for ~2 hours.
- Knead the mixture again. Leave it for ~30 min.
- Make the structure of bread.
- Leave it for ~30 min.
Mine looked like this.
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Bake the bread for ~25 min.
- Take the bread out and let it cool in room tempreture.
Final result looked like this.
Apart from having not enough salt, It tasted like bread.
