Pita Bread

Yesterday I made Pita bread (for the first time). Following the guidance of chef TOM.

Ingredients

Process

  1. Mix the dry ingredients
  2. Add water + olive oil to the mix
  3. Knead to a ball
  4. Leave for at least 1 hour
  5. Separate the dough to little balls
  6. Role them flat (use dry flour to make it not stick)
  7. Leave them for 10 minutes
  8. Pre heat the oven to 240 with pan inside (need the pan to be hot in order to burn the sides of pita)
  9. Place the flatted dough in the pan for 2-3 min (until they puff up)
  10. Flip the flatted dough and leave it for another 1-2 min
  11. Enjoy the pita bread !!!
